30 DAYS TO THE AWA NATIONAL PWC JAMBOREE

30 Days until the nation’s premier recreational event of the year

With only 30 days remaining, the AWA National PWC Jamboree is shaping up to be the “must-attend’ watercraft event of the year.   Already more than 100 participants from 17 different states are confirmed and the phone is ringing off the hook.  For those of you who have not registered yet – now is the time to sign up for this spectacular event!

The AWA National PWC Jamboree is a three-day national personal watercraft (PWC) recreational and family social and entertainment event that provides an opportunity to showcase the positive aspects of PWC as a lifestyle sport.  The whole atmosphere of the event will be fun and family-oriented.  The event is set up to bring together enthusiasts that share a common interest – the love of the sport of personal watercraft riding.  This event will take place on May 16, 17 and 18 at Nashville Shores Park, just minutes from downtown Nashville.

On shore, the atmosphere will be electric.  Professional staging and sound system, banners, tents, and corporate watercraft displays will set the stage for a truly large-scale event.  Watercraft enthusiasts can view the latest PWC models, take demo rides on all the new 2003 PWC, meet NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace and even race against him in a PWC competition, play games and eat food at the beach party and BBQ, socialize with other watercraft enthusiasts, and watch and participate in more than ten PWC related events that will take place during the weekend.

Nashville Shores Park is located on the 14,200-acre J. Percy Priest Lake that features 213 miles of scenic natural shoreline to explore.  This is the same site that hosted last year’s Waterfest event.  The lake is absolutely beautiful, and except for several marinas, campgrounds, boat launches, and parks, including Nashville Shores, the rest of this huge lake is wide open.  The combination of a first class facility, together with exciting recreational PWC events, will make this a very exciting and memorable event.   Here are some highlights of the event:

This event will finish back at Nashville Shores for an awards ceremony, BBQ and party.

Watercraft Team Beach Games

Whose watercraft is better? Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Polaris, Kawasaki or Honda? Well, we might not find out on the water, but we will at the first annual Watercraft Team Beach Games.  Five person teams will be split up, based on the participants preferred brand of watercraft, with a representative from each watercraft manufacturer on board as the team leader.  The Watercraft Beach Games will pump up the spirit with some fun, quick, and high-energy games designed for all ages and abilities. After the Opening Ceremony, let the beach challenges begin!  This event is as much fun to watch as it is to participate in.  Here is an example of the games that will take place at the event:
