awa NATIONAL PWC JAMBOREE
september
1-3, 2006
nation’s
premier recreational event returns to nashville
After another successful
year and event that attracted more than 200
participants from 30 different states and Canada, we are pleased to announce the return of the National PWC
Jamboree to Nashville, Tennessee.
The National PWC Jamboree is a three-day national personal
watercraft (PWC) recreational and family social and entertainment
event that provides an opportunity to showcase the positive aspects
of PWC as a lifestyle sport. The
whole atmosphere of the event will be fun and family-oriented.
The event is set up to bring together enthusiasts that share
a common interest – the love of the sport of personal watercraft
riding. This year’s
event will take place on September 1, 2 and 3 at Nashville Shores
Park, just minutes from downtown Nashville.
This year's event will be run in conjunction with the APBA
Watercross Nationals to create one HUGE event.
On
shore, the atmosphere will be electric.
Professional staging and sound system, banners, tents, and
corporate watercraft displays will set the stage for a truly
large-scale event. Watercraft
enthusiasts can view the latest PWC models, take demo rides, play games and eat food at the beach party and
BBQ, socialize with other watercraft enthusiasts, and watch and
participate in more than ten PWC related events that will take place
during the weekend.
Nashville
Shores Park is located on the 14,200-acre J. Percy Priest Lake that
features 213 miles of scenic natural shoreline to explore.
The lake is absolutely beautiful, and except for several
marinas, campgrounds, boat launches, and parks, including Nashville
Shores, the rest of this huge lake is wide open.
The combination of a first class facility, together with
exciting recreational PWC events, will make this a very exciting and
memorable event. The
site is conveniently located only 4 miles from Nashville
International airport and there are more than 500 hotel rooms within
1 mile of the site. Participants
can also camp or park RV’s right on site.
Here are some highlights of the event:
