NATIONAL PWC JAMBOREE EVENTS

POKER RUN - NO POKER RUN THIS YEAR

JAMBOREE NOTICE

Due to lack of interest in the Jamboree since we have moved the event to August we will not be running a Poker Run at the Jamboree this year.  The 2007 Jamboree will be scheduled for May or June where the manufacturers will be able to participate in a demo ride program.  We have had many calls and lots of interest in the Radar Gun Shootout and we will continue to run that event as well as the Riva King of the Beach and Slalom event. There will be an entry fee of $25 for the Radar Gun Shootout and $10 for each of the other events.  No pre-registration is necessary.

We apologize to anyone that planned on coming for a Poker Run.  We will work with the IJSBA for the 25th Annual World Finals and run a Poker run at that event.  We will still have lots of great prizes for the other events.

Riva racing KING OF THE BEACH

So your boat goes fast in a straight line – but can you ride it?  The RIVA Racing King of the Beach event will give riders an opportunity to carve buoys like the Pros on a simulated racecourse.  Participants will get two laps on the course, going one at a time, with the riders with the fastest times in a Men’s Runabout, Women’s Runabout, and Ski classes taking home some nice medals and prizes from RIVA Racing and the rider with the fastest time will be crowned “King of the Beach” and win a cool  trophy.

SUPER SLALOM Challenge

The Super Slalom Challenge is an exciting event where riders will compete on on a special Slalom course. The watercraft will be supplied for the participants. The riders with the fastest time in a Men's and Women's class will be crowned the winners and take home some nice prizes.  Medals will be awarded to the top three riders in each class and the winner will receive a special trophy.

Radar Gun Shootout

The Radar Gun Shootout will find out who has the fastest PWC on the beach.  Participants will make two runs on a straight 1/4-mile course.  The peak speed-reading on the radar gun will determine the winner.  Medals will be awarded to the top three participants, as well as some nice prizes.
