GREAT AWARDS Awards will be for 1st through 3rd place in the Overall order of finish and 1st through 3rd place in each class. The awards are really special for this event, AND there is a growing pile of merchandise that has been donated by friends and supporters of Mark Hahn that will be doled out to make sure that EVERYONE who competes receives something to take home as a memento to remember this great event!
Prize Money Announced for the 6th Annual APBA Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300
SEA-DOO FIRST AWARD
January 21, 2010 - Sea-Doo continues it’s support of the Mark Hahn Memorial PWC race with the announcement that for the second year the outstanding pit crew will win the prestigious “Sea-Doo X-Team Pit Challenge” award. This coveted trophy, along with a cash prize will be presented to the team that performs the most notable pit stop during the grueling 300 mile race on Lake Havasu, regardless of the manufacturer of their PWC. There is no other race in the sport where the racers actually come onto the beach for true “pit-stops” as fuel has to be added many times. The “Sea-Doo X-Team Pit Challenge” award is most appropriate for this race is truly a team event.
This is in addition to repeating the “Sea-Doo First” award and cash prize to be presented to the first team to finish the race on a Sea-Doo, irrespective of position. Jim Russell of DSM Events, the producers of the event said “We are grateful to Sea-Doo and BRP .
