Jump to  Determining Overall Champions       Rider Contingencies       Participants at each event will compete for cash, prizes and awards, as well as earn points toward an overall series title.  Pro-Am racers compete for cash with a 50% payback.  Pro-Am payback only this year - No Expert on non National Tour events. The Hydro-X championship titles and overall awards will be awarded to the top 3 riders in the classes offered at the series finale. Classes must have had at least 15 riders during the season for top 3 riders to get an overall award.  Otherwise top rider in each class will receive an award.  Below is a list of  classes that will compete for titles and overall awards.                                                            DETERMINING OVERALL CHAMPIONS To determine overall class champions, racers earn points depending on the final position in each Watercross (Closed Course) class only.  The 60 points for a win points system will be used for all Watercross events.  Overall championships are based on the points earned from all events - no dropping the lowest round this year.  Freestyle points are scored separately to determine an overall champion.  Double points are awarded at the series finale in all classes including Freestyle.  RIDER CONTINGENCY PROGRAMS   Sea-Doo Bounty 2011 BRP extends its watercraft industry leadership role by continuing to offer the industry’s only racer contingency program with the 2010 Sea‑Doo® X-TEAM Bounty.   Click Here for Press Release Click Here for Bounty Payout Click Here for Redemption Form Copyright 2011 APBA Racing.
