Jump to Determining Overall Champions Rider Contingencies Great Awards for 2010 PM Sports Marketing will one again step it up a notch and will award the top 3 racers in every racing class great Monster Energy Midwest Watercross Tour trophy at the series finale. Cool looking plaques will be awarded to the top 3 riders at each round. Special awards will be available for the Harbor Beach and Belle River races. Participants at each event will compete for cash, prizes and plaques, as well as earn points toward an overall series title and special trophy. Pro-Am and Expert racers compete for cash with a 50% payback in these classes. Beginner, Amateur and Novice racers compete for prizes. Plaques are awarded to the 1st - 3rd place winners in more than 30 events each weekend. The prestigious Monster Energy Midwest Watercross Tour championship titles and overall awards will be awarded to the top 3 riders in the 30 different classes at the series finale. Riders must attend at least 6 rounds to be eligible for an overall award. Below is a list of classes that will compete for titles and overall awards. The 60 points for a win points system will be used for all Watercross. Overall championships are based on the points earned from all events - no dropping the lowest round this year. Freestyle points are scored separately to determine an overall champion. Double points are awarded at the series finale in all classes including Freestyle. Riders must attend a minimum of 6 rounds to be eligible for an overall award and there is NO minimum riders required in the class to receive an award.
